Meet Payton

Payton is from Lincoln, Nebraska where she graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her career as a postpartum registered nurse, caring for women and their newborns while continuing her education. In 2021, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Women's Health. Altogether, Payton brings eight years of specialized experience in obstetrics and gynecology. 

Payton spent two years as a traveling nurse before returning to Nebraska to begin her career as a Nurse Practitioner. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and strives to provide thoughtful, detail-oriented care in an environment where women feel comfortable, heard, and supported. 

Her faith is an important part of her approach to healthcare, and she is passionate about providing Christ-centered care rooted in compassion, kindness, and respect for each patient. When she's not working, Payton enjoys spending time with family and friends, browsing local farmers markets, listening to live music, and traveling to explore new places

Suzanne Vandenhul, MD, FAAFP

Dr Vandenhul grew up in Kansas. She completed her medical training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, then at Wesley Family Medicine Residency.  She practiced in a small town in Kansas before moving to Nebraska. She has been practicing Family Medicine here in Lincoln since 2002 and cares for patients from newborns to geriatrics.  She has a special passion for nutrition and health with the goal of getting her patients off medications if possible. She treasures the relationships she has built with her patients here in Lincoln over the past 20 plus years. 

She lives with her husband, and their two grown sons live in Omaha.  In her spare time, she likes to garden, bake, exercise, walk her dog, and play pickleball.   She is active in the Catholic Medical Association.
